Revela on your computer
The same as in the browser, without its limits: presentations with lots of video, files of hundreds of megabytes and your work on your own disk. Free for Windows, macOS and Linux, and it updates itself.
Windows
Or with one command, in PowerShell:
irm https://revelaslides.com/install.ps1 | iexWindows may warn that the installer isn't signed: «More info ▸ Run anyway». With the command there's no need.
macOS
Or with one command, in Terminal:
curl -fsSL https://revelaslides.com/install.sh | shFor Macs with Apple silicon and with Intel. With the .dmg, the first time: right-click Revela ▸ Open. With the command, it opens right away.
Linux
Or with one command, in the terminal:
curl -fsSL https://revelaslides.com/install.sh | shOn Debian and Ubuntu it adds Revela's repository, so it updates with the system. On the others, it installs the AppImage with its menu entry.
It's built on GitHub from the public code; the commands only download the latest version published there, and you can read them first: install.ps1 · install.sh.
It updates itself
When it opens it checks for a new version, downloads it, verifies its signature and restarts with it. On Debian and Ubuntu, with Revela's repository, it updates with the rest of the system.
Without the browser's limits
Presentations with hundreds of megabytes of video and images, saved to your disk in pieces and opened without loading them whole into memory.
Your account, the same
It works without an account; if you sign in with yours, your plan, your AI and your cloud are the same as on the web. From the web, «File ▸ Desktop app» opens there what you're editing.
