Choose a starting point

When you open Revela you’ll see the gallery: a blank design or one of the sample presentations. Also under File ▸ New.

Bring your PowerPoint

Drag a .pptx or .odp file into the window, or use File ▸ Open. To save it as PowerPoint, File ▸ Export.

Present

With the Present button or the F5 key. Your phone can be the remote: Present ▸ Phone remote.

Save wherever you like

In your browser, in your Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive, or in the Revela cloud with your account.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install anything?

No. Revela runs in the browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). If you like, you can install it as an app from the browser itself, and there’s also a desktop version for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once you’ve opened it with a connection. Anything that needs the internet (image search, AI, sharing, collaborating) lets you know when you’re offline.

Will my PowerPoint presentation look right?

Revela reads text, shapes, images, tables, charts, animations, transitions, comments and more. If something doesn’t look the way you expect, let us know, with a sample file if you can.

How do I share a presentation?

With the Share button: a link to view it (encrypted in your browser, with a key or password) or to collaborate live. With Pro, also with specific people and their permissions.

How does the audience take part from their phones?

Insert a poll or an activity. When you present, the slide shows a QR code and a short code: your listeners open it on their phones and answer, with nothing to install and no sign-up.

Can I extend Revela with my own features?

Yes, with add-ins (new buttons that do whatever you program them to) and macros. The add-in guide explains the API with three examples you can try as they are.

My data and privacy

See the privacy policy: what leaves your browser, when, and to which service. From My account ▸ Your data you can download everything your account stores, or delete it.
