Your first live quiz
- On the slide where you want the question: Insert ▸ Live poll.
- Under Type, choose Quiz (with right answer and points), write the question and the answers, and put an asterisk (*) before the correct one.
- Present (F5). A QR code and a short code appear on the slide: students join from their phones, with nothing to install and no sign-up.
- When time is up, the correct answer and the leaderboard are shown. For a ranking of the whole session, add a poll of type Quiz leaderboard at the end.

Classroom mode: every student with the slides on their device
- Before presenting: View ▸ Classroom mode.
- Present. A code and a QR appear in the corner: anyone who joins sees on their phone or laptop the slide you are projecting, at the same pace.
- Polls and activities are answered right there. On their device, Aa · Easy reading shows the text larger and reads it aloud.
- When you finish: View ▸ Classroom results, with each student's points.

Automatic grades in Moodle
- Whoever manages the school's Moodle adds Revela as an external tool with dynamic registration, pasting this address:
https://revelaslides.com/api/lti/register. It works the same for other LTI 1.3-compatible platforms. - Share your presentation by link from revelaslides.com (File ▸ Share ▸ With people, “Anyone with the link can view”).
- In your Moodle course, add a Revela activity and paste the presentation link.
- Each student does it at their own pace; Revela grades their quizzes and activities and the grade reaches the Moodle gradebook on its own.
5 minutes
Flipped classroom: let them watch at home at their own pace
- Prepare the presentation with your explanations and an activity or two to check that it has been understood.
- Share it by link (File ▸ Share). For Google Classroom, View ▸ Google Classroom publishes it in your class.
- Whoever opens it goes through it at their own pace and answers the activities inside the slides, no phones needed. To try it yourself: View ▸ Self-paced.
- In class, you spend the time answering questions and practising.
3 minutes
Create a presentation with AI from your notes
- AI ▸ Create presentation.
- Write the topic, or attach your notes: a PDF, texts or photos of your notes or of the whiteboard.
- Choose how many slides, for what audience, the tone and the design. The AI prepares the slides with their speaker notes.
- Review them and change them as you like: it is your presentation. AI is paid for with credits (included in Pro).
2 minutes
Your PowerPoint, presented with your phone as a remote
- File ▸ Open (or drag the file into the window): .pptx and .odp files open with their text, images, tables, charts and animations.
- Add a poll or an activity if you like.
- View ▸ Connect phone and scan the code: your phone advances the slides, shows your notes and works as a pointer.
- To send it back as PowerPoint: File ▸ Export ▸ PowerPoint.
5 minutes
Class notebook and rubrics
- After a session with quizzes: View ▸ Classroom results ▸ Save in the notebook, in the right group (for example, “Year 3 A”).
- View ▸ Class notebook shows, by term, each student's grade out of 10 and their participation, and downloads it as CSV.
- In the Rubrics tab, create your criteria and levels; Assess with a rubric grades each student, and counts towards the report.
- A rubric can also be inserted into a slide to show it to the class before an assignment.
3 minutes
Presentations everyone can follow
- View ▸ Check accessibility warns you about images without a description, low contrast, small text, slides without a title or that advance too fast, and fixes the contrast with one click.
- When presenting, the C key turns on live captions of what you say.
- The R key (or the Aa button) opens reading mode: the slide's text in a clear, spaced font, which can be read aloud.
- Describe the important images (right-click ▸ alt text): reading mode and screen readers read them out.
